Photoshop- Digital Montage

For this assignment I chose to do a montage on my life story.  Basically, the story behind my montage is how as a young kid I have always dreamed of going to school to get educated and have a good career. So I put together a few pictures from when I was young up until I moved here into the UK and graduated, and I will also explain how I managed to put the images together into one montage.

Firstly I grouped the images in different layers and gave them each a different name. I then did command N on my keyboard then on my presets I chose international paper which I changed to A3 size then 150 resolution instead of the 300.

I then added my graduation picture onto the blank document and then saved it as a JPEG, which I used the command A button to select all the document and then command C to copy the document onto the newly opened document.  I used the command V to paste the document and then the T on my keyboard
to bring out the free transformation.

I the repeated the same steps for this image and selected only myself first before pasting it to the newly opened document.  The shift and alt button enabled me to scroll the image up and down then pressed enter on my keyboard.  I then clicked image, mode then grey scale and because I was not ready to flatten the image as yet I then clicked on discard.

Command L brought up the different levels which then helped me decide how best to maintain the key features of my image.  I then clicked on okay.  I also used the eraser tool to get rid of some of the detail I did not need from my image and from the menu I the selected the textured brush to erase some of this. I then used the filter from the menu and used the maximum tool to give the image a different texture.

Once I got to the final layer and when I was happy with my final image, I then went back to Gray scale so that I would change the colour of my final image.  So below is my final image:

Task: Create a Product Advert

This is what we did in today's lesson with Rich.  We were asked to create a product which you could then go on to sell.  It was pretty challenging considering the weather was pretty miserable.
